Sarah Hatton

HI! I am Sarah and as one of the Co-Founders of Y4U I can honestly say I am so honored and excited to share yoga with you. My personal passion for yoga stems from my life long journey as a yoga student. Through life’s ups and downs, my practice and my breath have been a constant source of comfort. It is my desire to share this with all First Responders & your families as a group of additional tools to destress.

I started my career in the health and fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, ran my own personal training business in Philadelphia and began my training to become a yoga teacher. I was looking for a way to approach my clients from a body, mind connection verses the isolation of specific muscle groups.

My first exposure to yoga was from my Mum in the early eighties as we dressed in our black leotards and sat on our meditation cushions in the living room. Those days I knew mediation as ‘the quiet game’. In my early twenties, I decided to revisit this thing called ‘yoga’. The rest is history!

I began my teacher training journey in Baltimore, MD where I did a six month apprenticship with a Kripalu trained teacher, went on to  attended numerous workshops and certifications with John DeMinico, Amy Johnson and Adri Kyser and finally completed my 200hrs with Stacy Dockins of Live, Love, Teach.

I look forward to sharing a practice with you soon.
